This is the house where I grew up.

We moved in when I was eight weeks old.

A rest stop somewhere in New Mexico, on our way out to California to sell the house and move mother into a retirement community.

If you look hard enough you can see Flick in the passenger seat.

Garage clutter had not been touched since the 1994 Northridge earthquake.

Bridgecreek retirement residence, West Covina CA.

The "Bridge" is the cafeteria.

The "creek" is a wash.

But it could not be called, "Bridgewash".

Her apartment is behind and above the kitchen.

She can smell every meal cooking.

Her two windows are the top two.
